Roadside
Can you come to my location?
Yes. Use Roadside or call (312) 937-6047. Used tire, install a spare, new spare, jump, lockout, or fuel. You can also flag a rusted frame or bent rim. How roadside works.
Install, plug, and balancing are the same price shop or roadside. Roadside also has drive time: $100 for the first hour there and back, then $100/hr after that. Prices.
The text
How will I know if you have a driver?
We text you either way from (708) 815-7014 — not a call. We aim for 15–90 seconds. We don’t guarantee the clock. Save that number so you know it’s us.
You place a $50 hold so we can start calling drivers. That hold is not a charge yet. If nobody can take it, the hold comes off.
If we’re busy, you were not charged. We’ll text back if things change. If we can get to you later, that text asks YES or NO.
If we accept, the text has a status link. The ETA shows there once a driver is on the way.
Size
How do I find my tire size?
It’s molded on the sidewall — width, aspect, then rim, like 225 / 45 / 17. Also on the driver-door sticker. Where to look, with a diagram.
We have it, we have a similar size, or we don’t have it. Similar means the same rim, a height within 3%, and a width within 10 mm, or 1 inch on a flotation size. That can move the odometer. All-wheel drive is extra risk. What similar size means.
Prices & work
The rest
What do tax, disposal, and install cost?
Each rim has three finished prices: out the door, on the rim, and on the car. The Illinois state tire fee and sales tax are already in those prices, not added on top. Haul-away is $5 only when we take the old tire with the job. Valve stems, sensor attachment valve stems, and new lugs (stripped) are taxed at 10.5% if they are itemized. Rim seal is bead sealer we put between tire and rim — a shop supply, not taxed, like a plug. Mount is $10 per tire 7am–9pm, $25 from 9pm–7am Chicago time, and that mount is already in on the rim and on the car. Take the tire with no install and there is no mount charge. Prices.
Do you offer tire balancing?
Yes. Balancing is $21 first, $10 each extra — shop or roadside. We put small weights on the wheel so it doesn’t hop or shake. What wheel weights do.
Can you repair flats and patch punctures?
Yes. Plug is $21 first, $10 each extra. Patch is $31.50 when we work it from the inside. If it needs replacement, we will say so. Tire repair.
Do you replace TPMS sensors?
Yes. We service and replace Tire Pressure Monitoring System sensors. A plain valve stem is $23. A replacement TPMS sensor is $57.50 each. Connecting the sensors on all 4 wheels is $42 for the set. Valve stems.
