$7 to haul away your old scrap tire or rim. Not the Illinois state tire fee.
When we take an old tire or rim off the car, you can keep it or we can haul it. Disposal is $7 each. That is our haul-away — scrap handling — not a government tax and not sales tax. Toggle “Haul away old” on Prices if you want it on the estimate.

- Not the Illinois tire fee Illinois charges $2.50 on every tire we sell — new or used. That state fee goes to the Used Tire Management Fund. We have to collect it. It is not haul-away, and we do not charge it on rims or labor. Both lines can show on one invoice: $2.50 state fee on the tire you bought, plus $7 if you want us to take the old one.
